Ok well i snowboarded till i was 9 then quit to snowboard untill this season. I dont know what skis would be right for me or not. Im 5'10 240 and i dont know what setup i should buy. i dont know much about the new technology so if someone would be able to gime some tips on what i should buy for the remainder of the season. Or if people have an idea on what my setup should be that would be cool.

well 510 i would say about 175 ish or 180 or maybe 170, it might be kinda of small. but damn 240 pounds! i would go with a stiffer ski. it wont be too stiff for you though cuz of ure weight. the Head Mad Trix are a good ski for you. they are a bit on the heavy side but its not a big deal. they are super durable and great for everything, park pipe and powder and groomers, just everything. they are also cheap. as far as bindings go, i would get some LOOKS, or rissignols. do not get salomon or markers, whatever you do. i dunno though just some ideas. do you need boots?

Yea im looking for a new setup of gear i sold all mine ages ago. Yea i ride everything right now im not set into one area of our mountain. So im needing boots bindings and skis and maybe some pols but i need to size those up at a shop im pretty sure

5'10 240??? at age 10? woah... and wtf is a manual 180??? i think u would mean butter, or tailpress sir.... for skis go to the shop, talk to the guys there, theyll give u a decent twin tip.. u dont need top of the line when starting

Haha im 19 not 10, Im not a beginner as i have said i used to ski and sitkk have my intermediate skills. Skiing is like riding a bike for me i got everything back in the first 10 min, but then again i was raised sking. Well if i should wait til next seasons gear what companies should i look out for.

im 5'10 and weigh about 200. try some public enemys there a real good ski for everything and arnt to stiuff but will be more than enough. the head mojos are sick but they a ton of money. try and demo so shit before you buy

dude at 240 your gona need a pretty stiff ski, the line invaders are stiff by twin tip standards or K2, the public enemy or the seth visous would work and look bindings not salomon

Damn, nobody has said anything about boots. A good pair of boots is going to be the first thing you want to buy. Do a search or go to a ski shop that is known for having good bootfitters.
