Ar5 + groomers = ?

So my friend got his ar5s warrentied but bought new skis so he is trying to sell me the new, warrentied AR5s with used p12, I ride about 30% park 70% trees/groomers/moguls/etc. Would they be good skis for me?

expand your horizon man, sometimes actually skiing is real fun.

I used Ar5's all mountain and they were fun.


I dunno i don't get how people can say oh its only for this. My friend was rippin some bowls in CO with invaders and he said they were fine.

cuz i currently ride some 03/04 1080s and they are great all mountain but they are kinda beat up adn i am thinking i need to update a little bit, the AR5s are 176's i am 5'9"

haha i wasnt looking for any trouble i just was wondering what kind of things are there to do besides skiing normally down them. but yeah right on. hey, id ski anything i can. moving to indiana was probably the shittiest thing that could have happened. we dont get anything.

I didn't say AR5's would be my first choice, but if he can get a good deal from his friend, I'd get 'em. But if you're just looking for skis, go with Karma's or Mojo's

ar5s are a fun all mtn ski to mess around on...but if your gonna be rippin down groomers and shit id say go wit a stiffer ski like a karma or the mojo 80 or even 90...but if u do a lot of tree skiing id look into the FR 179 by highsociety (if you got the cash) such a sick ski for all mtn... www.highsocietyfreeride.com

they are fine. i have a friend who uses them. carves are deep, can't tell the difference between my madtrix carves and ar5 carves when we forget which lines are ours; looking down from the chairlift.

seriously, ive been skiing a lot of park lately and i just started to ski a little groomers and i just realized why i satarted to ski, ripping some hard GS turns down the mtn and going fast, try it sometime

they're fine on groomers the aren't hard to ski at all and butters and stuff are fun too so yeah they'd be pretty good for u
