SMP Clothing Needs Money. We basically got stolen from, from a guy in chicago that sucks.
so we had an idea to truck in some snow and do a rail jam in June in either Brookfield WI (Krispy Kreme) or Mequon WI (Homestead HS)
Wed need to talk the owners into letting us do it at the Krispy Kreme and then we'd probably have to have some sponsors and police safety shit. but if we get enough intrested we may be able to pull it off. If i could get liberty skis and some snowboard company involved we could give away some skis and snowboards to the winner. We need a general hype to get it down.
also, the homestead high school ski club will probably hosting a level one premier this fall, just as a prelim count how many pple would be intrested in coming
HOMESTEAD is in Mequon Wi 10 mins north of Milwaukee.

that would be really sweet, but you might have some trouble doing it at hhs because of liability issues

Keep us posted. If your looking at rails in Brookfield, the iron bridges in Wirth park are awesome!
Check out the one about 1/4 mile up Pilgrim road from North ave.
It has it's own parking lot for a tow in.
Although, the drop to the river may be a little harsh in the summer as opposed to the wind drift in the winter:)

The Level One Preimeir in Homestead (mequon wis.) is pretty much guarenteed. so star getting physced. it will probably cost 15-20 to get in and all funds go to the homestead ski club (trying to get some freestyle programs in too)
as for any SMP funds things. I've been looking into it. We really need like a parking lot or something to do it in. or possibly truck some snow into Sunburst. Not Sure, theres also a hill in mequon (mee-kwon hill) if we could get a box and a rail and snow from ozaukee ice center it could go down pretty sweet. All i have is a thule box on my jetta so i dont know how much snow i can carry but there anly about a half mile from each other.
if no summer rail jam. possibly another premier at some venue for PBP or Plehouse. Don't know where though. Possibly Carrol College (reed, stas??)

id be game for a premiere at carroll, but we would have to know all of the details. Im trying to think about where the premiere would be on campus. the auditorium is waaay overkill, but the other places im thiking is way to small. maybe the localk highschool?

I know somepple at Brookfield central but im not sure if that would go well with them and not wanting some money for their own ski team,
MSOE's place was pretty big. and Carrol would probably attract more people from madison so i'm not sure.
