Quick binding mounting question

im buying some mike nicks from this kid and he has 8 holes mounted, 4 for back binding mount and 4 for the front part of the binding. is this correct? i havent really gone through this before. im buying some look px 12's, would those mount correctly? match up? thanks for your cooperation guys. just double checking.
