haha, i suppose i'm an unfair bias.... so i'll just state the facts. $600 USD at retail.

along with a much bigger strap which really secures that shit to your legs resulting in less shinbang.
in my experience with the boots, i've had no problems, and no shinbang. with a flex index of 90, the fuckin rip all mountain aswell. siiiiick sick boot.

i liked it a lot but i don't think it's a great freeride boot. not too stiff (but too much for park). edge to edge transfer is fast and easy. my opinon would be with the the free unstead of the fast. both boots are a great feel though.

apparently they both have the same flex ...85... both the free and fast according to the salomon web page

yeah, which is strange, because i'm reading the back of my boot right now and it says 'flex index 90'

i had them. they kicked ass everywhere. i liked the flex for park, pow, and all-mountain, but they didn't fit my foot well. i had to get a narrower boot and sold them for kryptons.
