Wrx 5 speed

for any of you whohave driven a wrx with a stick dont you think the clutch kind of sucks, the seat position and stick are also a little weird compared to an eclipse or mustang, i wish they were a little different, im not dissing the car at all because it kick ass but its not my ideal transmisson

when i drove some friends mustangs and eclipses i hated the clutch also the eclipse sucks cause its cable clutch, wrx is really nice

most cars use a hydraulic cylinder to engage and disengage the clutch. a cable clutch uses a cable mechanism and they're usually really hard to drive.

also, with older cars, the engine can heat the cable and stretch it out a little bit. my friend has a 92 VW Corrado and its nearly impossible for anyone besides him to drive it

well my car has a cable clutch and i can drive it perfectly but i had a hard time to drive the wrx

^you're probably just used to it. every car is slightly different and takes some adjusting.

the clutch is so-so in my wrx, the STi 6 speed is better, I do agree there. But the driving position is awesome if you ask me.
