Replying to Need advice on ski choice for an "old man"
Looking to buy new skis - mainly looking for something fun to play on - use about 70% in the parks, 30% groomers and off-piste - no real powder.
I'm 183 and 200 lbs (in my upper body and legs, not my gut :-)). Speed on the groomers isn't my thing - I'm 46 and just playing with my kids - jumps, boxes, etc., but nothing really serious - not competing, and I'll never have my picture in a magazine - don't plan on impressing anyone other than myself.
Skiing on Bandit B1's now, and flex is OK, but going to swith to real twin tips to make switch a little easier. Thinking about something a little wider too, but don't need anything really fat.
Any advice on skis? Also on bindings - lifter or no lifter given my "specs"?
Thanks
