I don't understand how there could possibly be an electronic beacon inside that little piece of plastic on atomic boots and sessions outerwear and stuff. And yet they claim that this is a battery free avalanche beacon. How does this work? Do other trancievers just pick it up so they can find you even if you don't have a transeiver?
