I have a volcom Jacket that I picked up for sixty bucks. If it is fuctional, cheap and stylish, in that order, then it really doesnt matter to me.
Part of the fuctional thing is that snowboard companies recognise that waterproofing is important. They sell stuff in the 20,000 mL waterproof range. Siver has 5000 and the Orage Corperate is only 10000. This lack of waterproofing is annoying.

I rock the Ronin suit, and it's pretty much the shit. comfy and stylin.
Ski stuff is HARD to find. and when you are on a budget, Burton is way easier on the wallet.

i have burton ronin pants that i love. i have orage jackets, oakley jackets and some spyder stuff. i see no difference in snowboard and ski gear. it's just marketing.
next year i most definitely want the light blue j lindeberg jacket and black pants.
