Replying to Another Idea

I was just going through forums the other day, when I had an idea, what else is new. I was thinking about a way to preserve certain old threads as a resource. Some threads on very common topics, ones that affect many people, or ones that are posted on frequently could be included. I was thinking on either a resource section type thing, where appropraite threads could be moved by mods in their current form not to be posted in, or a forum where mods could create topics or move topics into, but nobody could make new topics, only post, and do so under stricter standards to keep it a good resource with less junk..

I hope that makes some sense, I was looking for a way to preserve old stickys, and very helpful topics, where they wont leave the first page and become a pain in the ass to find. Sort of like an ultimate forum for only the best stuff.
