Its just a crappy sony DCR-TRV340 and i think its broken now. I was watching some of my footage on it and all of a sudden it starts beeping a lot and it keeps blinking the eject sign. So i turn it off and eject the tape. I take it out and it seems to be fine. I put it back in and try to play it again but it wont play. So i take it out again, or try. It wont come out its stuck on something. So i fiddle around with it and eventually it comes out and the film is coming out of the tape. I wind it back in and put it back in the camera. I push the thing down so it should go in. It goes down but instead of sliding into the camera it just pops back up again. Anyone know what could possibly be wrong with it? If its broken is it an easy fix? Im leaving for sunday river tomorrow at like noon and i want to film there, should i start arranging to borrow my friends camera? Help me please, thankyou.

I had a similar issue a while ago with mine, ate shit at the top of a rainbow box and laneded on it, the problem was that the lid/cover thinger over where the tape goes got smashed, something like that could have happened internally on yours. It sounds to me more like a mechanical issue that if you had the balls to take the thing apart you could find and fix, but I never told you to take it apart.
