Which all mountain skis can rip better on eastern ice and icy bumps? I need to decide between Volkl Karmas and Line Chronic Wides, I thought the lines would be too soft.
Prophet's are Line's best all mountain ski. The 80's are sick, as are the 100's but my favorite is next year's 90's. They ride better than any other big mountain/all mountain ski I've ever ridden.
The karmas are a sweeeeet ski to ride. They're a bit soft for my taste(I like stiff skis), but they do fine in the bumps, jumps, cliffs, groomers, you name it. I personally think that Volkl has a lot better built ski than Line, so that could also be a big determining factor as well.
Ski the prophet 90's if you can before you make that decision. I'd never liked Lines as they were way too soft, but when I demo'd the 90's, I fell in love. They're stiff and solid.
after rideing the wides for 4 days
and having them delam i would say the
karmas, but if you want to take a chance go
with the chronics best ride of my life!
