Well at the beggining of the season i got a pair of 1260s from last year. I plan on using them until they are destroyed but i was wondering what i should get for next year. Ill probly get this years model so itll be nice and cheap but i ride 80-90% park and 10-20% all mountain. I was thinking maybe the dogen but any other suggestions would be helpful. Oh yeah and im 5'10" and 185lbs.
yea dont go dogen thats the only volkl ski i wouldnt recommend sadly cuz im a huge volkl supporter, but check out the STLs such a sick park ski ull love em if u actually ski the percentages u told us
Yeah those percentages are right and whenever i get a chance to go up north all i do is glades but that doesnt really have any affect cause i can handle myself on my 153 1260's in the glades so ill be fine on anything.
Think this years chronics will stay around long enough to get sold next season? Price wont be that much of a factor if i can convince my parents that the core in one of my skis is rotting. If that is the case ill go just about with anything i just want a kind of solid idea of 3-5 skis that would be the best choices. Also, i think i want to look for something thats a little more evenly park and allmtn, but still park>allmtn.
Would Karmas or fujis be better for me? I want a little bit wider so they can handle better in powder, but which out of those two would work better for me you think?
i have brand new chronics just taken out of plastic a few days ago, the only action theyve seen is sitting in my room. 177. the graphics are backwards, which is kind of cool. if you want them name a price.
STL's are great for park. at first they are kinda stiff and poppy but after about 15-20 days of hard skiing on them they get really soft and are super fun for butters and pure park in the spring when it gets nice and soft
