keep your skis pointed directly at the lip and pop. usually when you carve you dont have to pop, you body just kinda goes into rotation. bend your knees keep your skis straight. pop and spin. id work on trying to spin faster while carving. it looks so much better.

yea you have to pop and then rotate, your starting rotation on the jump when you carve. first pop and then twist/turn your shoulders

you can carve and spin big...you just have to go a little bigger than normal...I wouldn't recommend it on a smaller jump because you would need to land lower than your normal sweet spot, so you would need an adequate size jump in the first place. Or practice on a tramp, that will help you go off more straight and pop.

chances are you're slarving not carving, its pretty hard to accidently do a carve off a jump considering it takes a set up carve and so on

I use to only be able to carve off jumps. I started spinning with my feet way wider and that helped a lot. Just keep them wide all the way off the jump and you won't carve.

Do it with a blindfold, it works better.

why would you want to stop carving? if you want to spin bigger just wind up a bit. i think carving makes it look better and for me it makes it a lot easier. but definitely dont carve doing a 180

throw it just like you would if you were wearing tennis shoes. just push off the inside edge of your left or right foot.

hit the lip, pop, THEN turn. dont try to spin before you've taken off. just a pop and a twist..

dont carve off the lip, try to spin when your in the air, not of the lip, so wind up and pop, pop of the lip and then rotate
All times are Eastern (-5)
