Day 1.
First day, first run, we get onto the double that starts at the upper lodge and then hike over to where there is this tree skiing with a few lines. I ski the line perfectly then dont see a drop at the end and eat shit. that was the sickest fall ever. when you fall in the east, it hurts, there was only one time at baker out of the 20 - 30 times i fell. so we i got back and waited for the people i was with and we whent back down and proceeded to have an amazing day.
Day 2.
We get SNOW all night, we go to the same place we did first run of the other day and get 3 or 4 runs of untouched pow (or what i would call pow top of the boot - thigh deep). this right after skii patrol had opened the top up. anyway after that we head over to.. uhh maybe chair 5... i duno, but it was a ton of glade skiing on the skiers right of the lift, we proceed to ski this nonstop until 2, with pretty much untouched lines until 11:30 ish. on the 2nd to last run, im skiing the lift that has a bunch of cliffs to the right, and steep trees to the left, (a quad) and decide that i havent touched the steep trees yet, so i go for it, well i ski those perfectly but when im skiing out i find myself atop what looks like a freindly small chute, so i drop into it just to find somthing i am very familiar with from back here in the east, ICE! this i was not expecting, so i slip out and slide own the rest of this chute, then proceed to lead 4 or 5 tomohawks down the powderey steep right after the chute, that was my only fall at baker that hurt. and it didnt even hurt that bad, it was kind of intresting just because it was my firs tomohawk. so we go back, and drive back to seattle. then fly home 2 days after. that was amazing.
