so i was wondering if its possible to plug a laptop into a tv, is there any cable i can get so i can do the whole double screen thing, and if it helps, i have an ibook
i dont think you can do that with a tv and your laptop...but i know you can hook a tv up to a cpu. laptops (to my knowledge) cant have this done because they dont have the monitor jack and i dont think that a usb/firewire can support a tv connection...
most current laptops being produced do in fact have a monitor jack for dual screening for desktops. At least my brother does, and he has the latest dell.
umm i did it with my computer, you use an s video cable, then go into your desktop settings, > settings > advanced > then i click on my graphics card > then you get choices, clone horizontal, vertical, and somthing elts
yea i kno that its possible with my computer, and i have the output, i just need a cable that would plug into the output on my compujter, and then into like those white red and yellow holes on the tv
