Well guys it looks like next year will be boring, I have next years catalog here in front of me and there is only 4 new skis:

here comes the real kicker - all their new skis ARE NOT TWINTIPS! there is a trade show here in mammoth and i was chillin at there booth today - i dont know what they are doin. they all had the new bindings on them too - and they are super heavy - the bindings alone fell like they wiegh more than my 189 pistols. in other news, K2 has an even sicker ski than the pistols now - same construction with studs and shit, but deminsions are 138 - 108 - 128. they are fucking HUGE

yeah the ski mammoth punks is called the Kahuna or Big Kahuna or something. Its blue with a tan stripe, looks like a surfboard sort of. But yeah they are HUGE

do you guys know where the money is in skiing? carbing. k2 sold 11,000 pairs of escape 5500's last year compared to line's TOTAL ski sales of just over 7000. This way, there's more money available to R&D. think about it. logically. They aren't being pussies and moving towards non-twins. They are trying to make a better impact on skiing and improve on what they've already produced. all you that complain that they are shitty, what do you think if they had twice the money available for the production and testing and shit?

i know you know a lot more about k2 than me schmies, but if they arnt the big kahuna, thats whats the reps and everyone has said, then what are they? - they are big, and blue with tan stripe just like that guy said - plake gave my friend 2 pairs so we can test them out, and im gonna demo a pair tomarrow from the k2 booth since its dumpin out right now :)
