Hey! I was thinking of buying the 1080's and was wondering how they ride and how well they can take abuse. lol. Can they carve or are they like skiing a wet noodle? Can they be smacked around, or break the first week of use? Any comments would help.

well, the new 1080's kick ass. The ride real well, they have a great feel on groom and their width makes themm excellent powder and crud skis. And, they can take a lot of abuse. I even have the original 1080's which I take out every now and then, and they are still in good condition.

they are a great ski, they hold up well in all conditions, ice, pow, bumps, park, and rails. they can take a lot of abuse too.

yeah i got last years and they are sick, they hold up in everything and are good for everything, i have also abused them fairly a lot and nothing is wrong with them
