Giving blood

have any of you ever given blood before? im doing it for the second time tomorrow. if you never have and your old enough, you really should because one pint of blood can save three people's lives. and it really doesnt hurt.

i did once... but i have too many chemicals in my body and they probably wouldnt accept it anyway. maybe in a couple more weeks once skiing is done and im training for rugby and getting healthy again i will donate.

I've gave blood because a hot girl convinced me that i could save people. Then learned that if you give plasma you get paid, easy way to make 40 bucks.

ive given blood as well and then went drinkin it was real easy to get drunk. but the last time the dumb nurse didnt kmow what she was doin and i ended up with a bruse the siz of an orange's circumferance. it sucked

yeah taht plasma thing takes like an hour and a half to do. and you have to be huge to do it.

the other day i gave blood, went to art class and went skiing thinking i'd be OK. bad idea. so instead i hit a few runs, died and gave up. So, i sat on the deck of the lodge and drank beer instead. also a great plan.
i had a rough day/night.

i given blood 6 times already in my life. i love giving it, it makes me feel like i helped someone out. its not taht bad either. i just make the weight minimum (110 lbs) which they say is the most dangerous with the most side effects and im fine. it dpeneds on you though.

I've given blood twice now, it doesn't realy hurt at all other then an initial pinch and you get free donuts and pop and coffee!!

i gave blood today. I saved three lives and i successfully got out of 4 classes.I love the red cross.Plus i got this sweet Tshirt and a ton of snack food

i think they put the blood in a centrofuge and it seperates the plasma from the blood or something.

they had a blood drive on st patricks day at my school last year...I gave 2 pints...and passed out after 6 beers (mind you im 6' 1" 180lbs)...it was fun for about 2 hrs, then i dont remember

^you have to be 17 and 110 pounds. then they ask you a zillion weird questions in history like have you ever had sex with somone who may have had sex with someone who lives in africa. its quite amusing.

it's pretty great. i got free pizza and pop last time.
and did anyone hear about the donation clinic in montreal? there was a protest going on i think at mcgill because of the ban of males who had ever had anal sex with another male. and they did something, i think got a gay guy to donate, and it ruined the whole day's worth of donations. a LOT of blood. now there's controversy with hema-quebec on all that. i don't think they'll be changing any rules though.

Screw giving blood. I gave blood since I was six til twelve and they still don't know what's wrong with me. There's no way I will ever willingly give blood.

i donated blood like 3 weeks ago. it's a good feeling after cause your gonna help out some people. you get tons of free food and drinks after. It's a good feeling and doesn't hurt you alot.

does it hurt ? i guess i would do it but like 1 year ago i was supposed to give soom blood at the hospital and the nurse said she almost cant find my veins so she was raking around in my arm..:S
