im thinking about doing it next year in high school, do they let you take your twins too and ski in the park a little wen you go to practice and wen you go on trips? or do only nice coaches let you?

depends on the team when I was racing we could use twins but wasnt recommended at all. I would suggest using race skis if you're going to race. NOT twins. you'll be working on racing the whole time.

yeah, if you think you're going to join the racing team to do freestyle stuff, you're going to be very disappointed.

its still really fun if you arent a park rat tho. i mean i just like skiing with other people who rip, and most likely other people on the team will have twins too. i did it for garunteed days on the hill, and its cool to meet a bunch of new people. and as an added bonus, most of the racer chicks are hot, and wear the speed suits. i would do it.

unless uve got another way to ski everyday, do the race team. if ur team is good then some of the kids are gonna be sick skiers so its just a good way to go out and rip. skiing is skiing no matter how u do it

exactly. as long as there is snow i find a way to have fun... i mean shit i can ski switch on gs skis, its not like you cant go in the park with races skis.

no i mean like, wen we take a trip to killy or something, can we bring our twins and go in the park wen we have time? (and bring both race skis and twins on the trip)

just dont miss your run (you'll get owned). depending on the league your in they will run the races really fast and you dont get much time to do anything aside slip once then take your run

haha i jsut did that this year it was awsome. i went to provincials on my twins (public enemys). all the racers had like spandex on i just laughfed so ahrd. hy teacher was freaking out bout me doing flip tho, just dont let school know u are doing big tricks

i was on last year and i raced on twins, which definitely gave me a disadvantage because of the ice and dull edges ( i wouldnt sharpen them bc it would screw me up on rails) it depends on how strict ur coach is.

yeah, i raced on 160 mavericks and my pollards this year. it is still fun. my coach lets us bring twins too, so you might be able to. i would at least try it, it is so much fun just meeting all the people.
