i might be purchasing some new binding soon. if anyone could reccomend what i should get, preferable something that will last a few years. (and please, before you reccomend something, id like you to have used it...dont say somehing great that youve never ridden on)
Look/Rossignol is all I feel safe riding on, I've trusted my life to my bindings on numerous occasions. And as far as durability goes, I have a set of 3 year old Rossignols on my mogul skis(which get beat up pretty badly) and they're still functioning perfectly.
I prefer the upper end salomons...I have only used the S912 Ti which works great, but I also hear the s916's are awesome too (sorry for commenting even though I didn't actually ride the 916's!).
it's alright, tons of pros ride them, and as i like to say: if it's good enough for set, it's good enough for you. i too ride 912s and have had no problems.
Look or Rossi bindings are the way to go. The offer the most elastic travel of all the bindings on the market, which is generally a good think for park skiing... or any kind of skiing for that matter.
