Beef wit Butters

Yo, what up with everyone claiming butter onto rails when all they are doin is sliding their skis around on the snow. a fuckin butter is when you engage the flex in your skis and get back on your tips, not pussy out riding switch and do a revert. honestly the first time i saw a butter i just laughed cause i though a kid had pussied out hitting a small-ass box switch and had reverted around. See T-Hall fuckin show you a real butter on the cover of Freeskier from last year.

i think so too, most of them are just reverts, which are dumb because it hurts your calfs and doesnt look good

i would rather try a rail/box switch than revert (some people say butter)...only do em if you know you can flex properly

i know what you mean. butters look sick if done right, but they arent easy to do right, and i dont think people get that you cant just half-ass your way through them.

haha my friend was doing "butters" onto rails. haha then i told him he was retarted because all he was doing was skiing up switch and then buttering like 10 feet in fron of the rail then hitting the rail.

i was like "dude, thats not buttering on the rail, its just making you look like a douche"

and some people dont even butter when they do it they switch on the snowwith there skis flat on the ground. its only sick and even a trick if u come in switch butter on ur tails, and stay on them, and from ur tails ollie onto the box/rail.
