its either shin splints or shin bang then. splints you usually get from running and stuff. bang...well you know what bang is from. dont actually know if you can combo both or if they are in fact the same thing-seems like they might be similar. Anyways. if its shin splints your gonna have to wrap your shins very tightly with like an ace bandage or get a sleeve-gotta keep the muscle from pulling away.
yess there is stuff you can do about it....i don't remeber the stretches but walking up step hills helps, and althouhg i haven't tried this, walking around on youur heels apparently helps too. BUt walking up hills fo sho, and you generally get shin splints during skiing seaosn from landing backseat.....so try not to land backseat soo much.
