PATS PEAK BIG AIR!

This sunday is the Pats Peak big air, which for the first time they are allowing skiers to compete. This is a mountain dominated by the common snowboard loving, skiing haters so this is our chance to show that skiers belong in the park. Please grab all your friends and show up for this event!

Registration: 8:30am - 11:30am in the Valley Lodge. Start Time: 12:30 pm.
Cost: $15 Entry Fee Plus Valley Lift Ticket. Divisions: Men 16+ • Men 15 & Under • Women.
Release forms must be signed. Age 17 and under needs parent or guardian signature.

By the way, I just test jumped the new jump that will be used for the comp. and it's about 40ft. and the lip is incredible. I was about 10ft. above the knuckle (not even at the peak of the air) and when I landed, my right binding busted. I told the main park guy about this issue and hopefully a steeper or longer landing will be built for the comp. because it's basically a hip jump with no hip.

All we need to do is get a bunch of skiers to go, get signed up and show up for practice and they are going to have to let us compete. Seriously, we have worked to hard to try to prove ourselves in the park there to just get blown off another year from a broken promise. Show up and we'll make our stand.

well if u dont wanna go to a possible skier comp, theres a definate rail and QP (possibly even including jump) jam at sunapee on sunday. www.mountsunapee.com park site has all the info. CASH PURSE, depending on how many people atte4nd. its liek $10, ppeople under 18 need a waiver signed by a paren o anyone over 18. gonna be tunes, good conditions, and alot of fun. DO IT

Holy shit that was the best day of skiing I've had in a while. It turns out there wasn't a skiers' big air but after talking to Phil it was because of lack of sponsors and to show that he wasn't trying to block out skiers, he let me and another kid who applied into the contest just to jump for fun. The video of my two jumps are in the crash section of the videos... yeah it went over well haha.
