so its lookin like im gonna be spending four days there over the weekend of the 10th of march...anyone know what the conditions are/will be like, and if anyone wants to ride, gimme a shout too
conditions will be as follows, Partly cloudy 24 degrees, possibilty of precipitation 10%. A slight chance of sarcasm in the afternoon, clearing by night.
well it was a pretty lame question. I work at a hotel and tourists call and ask that all the time... "whats the weather going to be like the beginning of next march?"
Ok, well it's been warm "high pressure" for a bit. The snow is kinda hardpack/crusty but the weather is fair. We are getting hammered this week by storms, so it'll be sick when you come out, sorry for the sarcasm but that's about the 50th post this year with someone asking how it's going to be in a few months, the weathermen around here are fucking up constantly so we don't have a clue.
For a ballpark of conditions for a given time in the year look at alta and check the snowfall history over the past 25 years and that will give you a better educated guess but theres obviously no way to tell a few weeks out. Have fun!
why are you getting so pissy? snowbasin has a website, which probably has a forecast on it. Are you unable to type "snowbasin utah" into google? if not stop bitching and figure it out
dont know about you, but around here the resorts like to pad their reports...a lot, so when i saw high temps i got worries. i also thought the locals might have a better take...
and sorry for the pissyness, i fucked up my hip again by falling on a hematoma i already had, so im still not in a good mood.
i guess that's a bit true, they do pad sometimes but not a whole lot, generally from what i've seen around here the resorts have been pretty close to on.
