Should I get this camcorder

I want to get a camcorder to film some skiing, and snowskating and other stuff. I don't want to spend over 300, whats a good digital camcorder?

if you don't want to spend much and want a small camera you can keep in your pocket, check overstock.com's camcorders. they're all pretty cheap.

im looking for like the same thing, but i want minidv. i went to circuit city yesterday to look at some and get a feel for them and i was so suprised how small camcorders are nowadays. it's been a while since i've even looked at them so it was really suprising how nice and compact they were. anyway i know that www.camcorderinfo.com has good reviews and stuff so check that out.

check that out it's minidv and you can buy up to 2gig secure digital cards to put in there, deffinately worth it..i'm trying to get money together to get one myself.

I'd just go to some electronics stores and stuff, you can get pretty decent ones for $300 these days just go out and look. I would stay away from like no name brands and stuff though.

A Canon Optura 10 or 20 would be your best bet... but you would have to get one off ebay since they are not manufactured anymore though... they are fairly small and the image quality can compare to the low end Panny 3 chippers... it a real great starter cam and you can't beat the price
