The Karma is going to be a lot of ski with you being so light. It's very stiff.
I'm 5'10" 167 pounds and ride 177 Karmas. They're KILLER for all-mountain, but they leave a lot to be desired for park skiing... not surprisingly since they're not designed for it. I can't nose a tail butter on them at all. I just can't create the leverage with my weight. They're also a tad heavy in the shovel and tail so they are more work to spin.
I also ride a pair of 04/05 Rossi Scratch FS's in a 174 for park skiing. These are like the exact opposite of the Karmas for me. They work great on groomers and in the park, but in the crud they're awful. Way too soft. The tips wash out on me constantly when trying to push them through the junk. However they're awesome for buttering and railing on.
You might try something like the Line Chronics for a good middle ground, and get a size short enough for you to be able to keep under control and have fun. I tried a pair of the 04/05's for half a day and enjoyed them thoroughly.

well i really like a stiff ski, ive been skin on GS race skis (170 Gs:9 atomics) and i love a stiff ski... also the race skis ahve huge ass platforms and big bindings and so its wicked heavy, idk how heavy compared to the karmas though, im not doing a lot of rails, actually none, im just doing jumps and groomers and some pow

try the public enemys. im a racer too and they are stiff enought to bomb the hill yet soft enough to nose and tail press and they are easy to spin on, but get them center mounted otherwise they suck

I don't know about your height and weight....but for me, I'm 6'2" with 185cm volkl karmas. i was on 1080s before which were super light and floppy. the karmas are significantly stiffer, but makes them amazing all mountain....i haven't had a problem spinning, but haven't done much other than floaty 180's and 3's so far. they ride really well. if you're a strong skier, you should be able to handle them.
