Replying to Utah state???

Ive heard a lot of people talk about u of u on here, some good things, some bad. But i have heard nothing about utah state university. Is it any good? I know its like 2hrs from PC and that whole area but are the hills by it any good? I only ask because i was planning on going to u of u but now ive heard a whole bunch of stuff that its a commuter school and almost nothing happens on campus. And my mom talked to a guy who said that utah state has a lot more activity on campus and is a lot more fun. Is this true?
