thats right i said it, hate on me, worst comp ever this weekend, so many ignorant people, everything is urban style gay setup to the rails. i just dont see how this place is hyped up so much and i just would rather ski bear creek, blue mt or roundtop.
Dude..Bear Creek is one of the worst places in the east. Theres no way in hell you could prefer Bear over Mountain Creek. If you can't hit urban setups then you shouldnt be entering comps. You suck.
Who are you to talk. And yes Bear is better then MC. But lets look at how you told him he must suck. Look at his pics and vids they are all good, now lets look at yours, o wait your a beat noob and dont even have a profile.
i'm gonna back miller up on this one, creek sucked balls today. its one thing to have a rail set up urban style, which i can do just fine by the way, but the way creek's rails are set up just sucked. out of everything in the parks today, there were 2 rails i thought were set up well, one street style and one not. the usasa slopestyle course was aweful. for the first hit, you had your choice of two street style rails, neither of which was set up well. the second feature was your choice of a super easy flat box with no landing, or the up box and super high flat rail, both of which put you down past the landing if you came into them with any speed at all. the landings on both hips were solid ice. the downkink box just should have been closed off. hitting that thing on skis today was near impossible, and i think there were maybe 2 of us who didnt fall on it out of all the skiers. say we suck if you want, but we've all placed rather well in a bunch of different comps over the past few years. never before in any park i have been too have i encountered so many rails that just were not safely hittable by skiers than i did at creek today. besides the fact that the overhyped park sucked, the place is a zoo with a giant bubble for a lodge. i dont think i've ever seen a larger gathering of ignorant new yorkers in my life. you creek kids dont have to worry about us coming back any time soon to crowd your parks, thats for sure. i'll stick to blue and bear where there's some variety in the park, i can sit down on a chairlift to get back to the top, and people arent arrogant assholes with goofy accents. oh, and the air smells bad there too.

have you been to Bear/Blue/Boulder lately? you dont know how good ALL of those places are. and you also dont know who you are saying sucks. because they could fuckin put you in your place.
PA doesn't suck. you do. you think the jumps are tiny. thats a fuckin joke. go to Blue and hit the 70 foot booter and tell me the jumps are tiny. actually, dont come to PA. we dont want trash like you around.
oldschool? by oldschool, you mean that the setups have variety, right? sorry we're not owned by a large corporation and feel the need to have every rail be set up however the latest trend says it should be, in your case street style. i have no problem with street style setups, when they are set up correctly. bear has a rail set up street style, and its lots of fun. so do blue and boulder, both over stairs for that matter, and yes, i can slide them both without any trouble, because they are set up well. but not every rail in the park should be set up the same way. we have stuff thats set up urban style, stuff that has gaps onto it, and some stuff thats ride on for the beginners too. if you think we cant ski, then you must have some pretty damn high standards for what constitutes a good skier.
I usually ski once a week at Creek, I am ok at rails and boxes, and I can only pull some easy grabs and a 360 off jumps. With that being said this is my take on the park at Mountain Creek. The park at South is where I learned, and the rail, box, and 2 jumps there are good to learn on, but after you get a little better there is nowhere to try anything medium sized. This was my biggest problem last season. The rails at North are fairly large, but could be really fun if they made the jumps onto them t less intimidating. It toke me a few times skiing their, to get the confidence to try them, and I am still a little worried every time I try one. The biggest problem with their park is that most of the people in it are snowboarders, who don’t seem to have a problem with the rails, which is why I think Creek sees no reason to change them. The jumps they had set up as of last week were not that big, but were still not that fun because it is hard to get the speed to easily clear them. If Creek just got a little smarter and made a few better jumps, less intimidating jumps onto their jibs, they would have a great park. In conclusion, Creeks park does not suck, but just can improve on a few aspects of it.
As for those other places you guys said were better than creek, I have never been their so I can’t compare.
all you kids are bithes creeks shit is better than any of that shit in PA. just becuase creek has a gap to there rails and they are ten times nicer and smother than anything in PA doesnt meen you kids need to bith. the urban stuff at creek is so nice and the progrssion of are sport. and stop bitching that the shit is unhittble for skies you kids are just pussy as bitches
hahahahhahahahaha so you didnt do them?.... and chief you probably werent there the same day they were there...so stop acting like you do them with ease....
i cant do them, and im not saying that im better than him, im just telling him to chill because i dont like it wen people make fun of creek, only skiers that ski at creek are allowed to make fun of creek
^ guess what buddy, we did ski at creek. i'm not making fun of it, i'm saying it sucked. i am making fun of the people, however. i never said we couldnt hit those rails either. we did, and they just werent fun. we didnt film at creek because we were there for a comp. we took our practice runs, the two runs for the comp, and peaced because everything was so beat. i agree with you that urban style rails are progressive, but progressive or not, they suck if they are not set up correctly. also, dont call us out for supposedly not hitting rails that you cant even do yourself.
No matter WHAT you say or how many times you say it, we all know that you PA kids sucks and that your shittle little parks suck. We've been there, we've laughed at them, we wont return. You keep showing us pictures of parks that loook like shit and you expect us to believe you? Face it, you may think you know what you are talking about, but we're all laughing at you. So if you like making an ass of yourself keep spraying bullshit and false hype about some little tiny puke mountain with less than 500ft of vert. Also, Bear Creek rails fall apart. HA HA.
bear creek falls apart? because they have a nicer lodge than most places up north or out west? i guess compared to your portable space station, bear creek isnt that great though. i loved not even being able to back out my chair from the table to have room to take off my boots because that bubble was so packed with asians.
also, how do you say we suck? we've given you video proof that we dont. we have comp results that prove that we dont. why cant you just get it through your head that just because we are from pa, it does not mean that we cant ski? we've all been up north and out west and skied with kids there who were impressed that kids from pa could ski that well. your claims just have no basis, so please stop trying to inflate your ego by trying to downplay us.
and finally, what does vert have to do with anything as far as park riding goes? so mountain creek is taller than bear and blue is taller than creek by 40 feet or so. i dont recall skiing anything at creek that was top to bottom park, so they arent even using all those 1050 feet or whatever it is anyway. blue has a top to bottom park, nearly a mile long. thats what counts, not how tall the mountain is. and sure, maybe bear creek has only 510 vert. feet, but they make use of it all with top to bottom parks that are packed with features. bear's jumps are pretty much near perfect right now too. honestly, the only thing you guys have on us is your pipe.
explain how bears rails fall apart and how our setups are "Old School"... ok u have a pipe that is very good but bear is better in every other aspect... ur "jib lab" exists at every mountain... its nothing special and i believe that our rails are better set up than yours... urban setups are coool... we have 2 but other setups are also nescessary... the vibe, rails and jumps at bear are much better than at bear than mtn creek and u cant even say that the skiiers in PA suck... i would put money that the skill level of freeskiers in PA far exceeds the level of riding in NJ... ur mountain got worse this year than in last years and it has so much more money than any other mountain in PA
^ since dorsey's photo sucks, thats an up box to flat box to down box, gap onto and between all the boxes, about 60 feet long total. and no, i dont love you.
Bear Creek is taking over, mountain creeks time in the spot light is over, but hey it dont matter to me, say what you want about bear, it still beat mountain creek 10 different ways, oh and those rails dont look very hard to me, so why you braggin creek man
im going to wear a shirt that says
i heart PA when i go to an out of state comp hah
and for bear creek, the rails are def nice, good variety.. jumps werent the best but werent the worst ive hit. they had a triple box just like the one in the MC pic. pretty sick..
for MC, ive never been there. but it looks like youve got a nice choice of rails, and a pretty straight park, nicely formed takeoffs for most features in which ive seen in pictures. how is the park without a park pass? are there gaps? ride ons?
