Replying to Camera (photography) question

Alright, so I've taken 2 years of high-school photography, all black and white real film photography, but when i'm done in 3 months I will have seriously limited, if any, time in a darkroom...SO my question is should I just buy a digital SLR (leaning towards a Canon EOS-D5 or a Nikon D200 or D70, but open to suggestions) or should I stick with film and get a film scanner (in which case I'll have to buy a new camera cuz I've just been using one of my dads for class, so I'll need help there too)?

Any ideas would be great
