Same here. Mine really really start hurting after learning new tricks with bad landings. Ouch. I think I'm gonna buy this boot strap that stops shin bang. go to google.com and look up 'Booster Strap.' It's cool.
REMEMBER: It's 10% equipment, and 90% rider.

get some 1080 boots and have the shop modify them to flex as much as they can it helps get rid of shin bang and on salomon boots period there is a lil thing above your top buckle you can have cut off to give more flex
