hey i have line 1260s from 01.. oragnge ones mid mounted... i want a twin prolly rond 170 or so im bout 5'9 and i want something with big twin b/c i ski fakie 2 much.. does neone know how high the tails are on my 12's? i was thinking bout getting 171 nicks.. ne input?

If your 5'9' don't be a pussy and ski a longer ski... Jon Olson is 5'9' and skis 180s...
go for the 179 PE... hella sick with a huge rear tip.

Whistlerman, you should realize that many of the people on this forum ride skis of thier preference. Not everyone wants to do Olsen in the butt, much like I'm beginning to think you do. Sure, you're probably a great skier....I'm not going to doubt that. But ask the racer what length you should be riding and he'll tell you about a 165, ask the BC skier what you should be riding and he might tell you 185. You should stop being a pussy yourself and realize that your way isn't the 'only way', or in other words; Olsen's way isn't the only way. I'm 180 and my POWDER skis are 180cm. I have the PR's in a 175, that gives me plenty of stability and flotation for most days, even in the depest snow. I'm beginning to think that the 175 PR is enough for everything. Try new things.....don't just say that we are all a bunch of pussies when in all reality, many of us might be able out ski you any day of the week. Peaz and carruts.

This was a suggestion given from an atomic rep to one of my students. Read up fellas and ladies, it makes sense. Oh and by the way, the guy is 6' 235....most of you are probably strong intermediate skiers and advanced jumpers.
As an intermediate, if you were to ski the Atomic SX:11 or a serious GS ski, then 180cm would probably kill your legs before noon. If you were to ski one of the modern slaloms longer than 170cm you would be working against the design of the ski and be unhappy. I would look at either one of the recreational slalom skis or a mid-fat (on the thinner rather than wider side). Some good slalom choices might be the Rossignol Viper S (slalom) or the Fischer Sceneo 400 both of these in the 165 range. If you like to go faster, you'll like a little bit longer ski for the stability. Some good choices might be the Atomic SX:9, Dynastar SkiCross 9, the Bandit X, or the K2 Axis X these in the 175 range. Whatever you do, demo several on the same day - you will feel a lot of differences between skis. Good luck.'

enemey is better all mountain but the PE is rated bout 70% park & 30% all mountain.... neone know of nebody selling new PEs?
