i saw those really good deals on sierrasnowboard and i really want to get some skis cause they are so damn cheap. but i already have 2 skis this year (stls and maidens), and it would be kinda wierd to have a third. but if i decide to get some new ones, i think id either get arv's or invaders. my stls are pretty similar to invaders so i dont know if that would be a smart choice, and i want arv's cause they seem soooo soft, and they are light as poop, and they are pretty wide and wide is good.
two different skis...invaders if you want a park only but yeah the stls are great park ski so you wouldnt really need to replace with invaders, and with madens you have the BC covered already so ARVs arnt necessary but ARVs work as an awesome ski anywhere, never ridden the madens personally so cant give any advice other than what i hear
dude, i love my arv's so much, theyr uber sick, and kill it in park. i'd like somthing wider for big mountain though. dont get me wrong, they rip in all mountain.
only thing is im going to center mount my maidens so id have like 2 wide park skis, but they are alot different unlike the stl's and invaders, and invaders are kinda crappy.
my arvs are beautiful, the kill it everywhere other than on blue ice, and they're soft enough that you can fuck up a cliff landing (ie land way back) and ride away no problem. haven't done much in the park with them (no rails/boxes), but they're awesome off of bc booters.
yeah im leaning towards arv's, the only thing is that id be able to warrenty the invaders probably since like everyone is messed up, and i could get next years.
