here are my choices as of now:
Ohio State: ½ my family went here. It’s flat and overcast all winter, but good parties and an overall fun school. Also good chem. engineering program
UC boulder: need I say more
Heriot- Watt: this is a school I wanted to go to since I started brewing. It’s in Edinburgh Scotland, and it has a four year course in brewing and distillation; also grad school options and a combined program of Chem. engineering and brewing. So essentially I would be majoring in beer.

okay even ur sn is about beer, your sig has things about beer in it, you obviously really like beer and maybe wanna be involved in the process of making it seeing what one of ur colleges is, its really up to you, if the production of beer is really what u wanna do then i say go there, yeah u wanna ski and wanna go to parties, but seriously, making beer....screw parties, soon ul be covered in beer all the time, i mean ohio state is a nice college and would be sick to go to, and then boulder of coarse, but i tihnk people need to look more towards their future and what they wanna do for the rest of their lives, your gonna be working for 30+ years ateast so, you might as well go to a good college that will get you where u want then have a fun 4 years and then get no where

i'm with you bro, but i can do a lot in the brewing industry with a degree in chemistry, so it's not necicary for me to major in brewing. it would just be nice to take a course specific to that. and since i love chem. i could have something to fall back on if i ever want to change jobs.

well it comes down to how much you're willing to spend/how much you love skiing.
If you dont wanna spend too much, i'd recommend going to CU because you can great skiing pretty near, and ohio otherwise...
either way, im talking out my ass, but they are both excellent schools, you cant really go wrong. If i were you, i'd look and see where their chem majors have gone.

Ohio State isn't really good for anything other than football. Even then they still fuck their sisters. Go to scotland.

take a year off! be a liftie and have one of the best times of your life. you have your whole life to go to school, but being a ski bum is something to do when you're young.

Hey..how about this. Go to any College or University in Vancouver or Victoria and you can get a pass at Whistler/Blackcomb for $350!!! Yes that is right. If you go to any school there you can get a cheap full year pass but you have to get it with 3 other students too. It is a 4 for 1 deal for students.

good school for sure and a pretty nice city, but the parties suck and the women are ugly as sin.
on the topic, ohio state is definitely the most fun school i've ever been too. lots of sweet parties and real good sports to go to. uc-boulder was my dream school because the town is so sweet and it's close to the mountains. look at the schools and figure out which one is going to be better for you in the long run, you'll have a blast at either one so don't worry about that part. i don't know about the whole going to another continent for college thing, wouldn't be my choice but do what you got to do.

Yo, dude, I am in Scotland right now. About 1 hour north of Edinburgh. From what I have seen it is a pretty sweet town. It sounds like a good deal. Do Scotland. And, remember there are super cheap ski deals in the Alpes. I am going to get 2 weeks there over spring break for real cheap. Sweet. Do it.

Michigan and OSU have one of the worst rivalries in football. if i ever went to michigan my family would never talk to me again.

it's not that i'm depending of NS to actually help me make a decision. I just want to see your arguments so i can compare them to my own motivations to pick a particular school. you never know, maybe someone on here will look at it from a different perspective than i do.

Iguess I'm alone on this one, but if I were you, and i could afford the brewing school it would be no question. You are different than your parents, do your own thing, dont end up like everyone around you. no question go to scotland.

Your heart seems to lie in brewing, so why ot go to scotalnd and learn to be the best. You may make sacrifices, but I believe in the longterm follow a dream and don't look back.
