I know ill get flamed for posting this... but no, im not a n00b, i just want people's honest opinions.

im about 6 foot and weigh about 165-175(depending on what day it is and how much i ate that day =P haha)

im currently ridin on some 182 Line 1260s and i love them, and (even though they're meant for park) id like something more park oriented (being the Invader) because the 1260s are stiff. I also want something shorter and easier to ride on (because frankly im not that good)anyway, the real question... would 161 be too short to go? or would i be better off getting the 171s if im centermounting them?

please dont flame me for being a noob, ive been on this site for years.

161 iss wway way to short... a 171 is short and if your are going to get another ski id say like an stl or tm if you want something soft. Personally i would just stay with the 1260.

161 is wayyyyyyy too short man, i guess you could go 171 but taht still seems short, the 178 invader would be pretty much ideal.

i just cant believe you think that 1260s are stiff...

I agree with that statement completely. It's really hard to give you advice if you weigh 165+ and think that your 182 cm 1260's are too much ski for you. Maybe look into Roxy skis?

1260s stiff?? uhh they r noodles but if u think 182 is too big go with some ninthward mikds they r 176

ok so, i kinda feel like a pussy now.
i guess i just feel that the 1260s are too soft because i've never skiied anything else... i went from skiing reg skis when i was 12 to snowboarding... then to skiboarding (i know, i know) and then the first twins i bought were the 1260s. So, being that i've never skiied on anything else, i dont know the difference. So, with the advice if gotten, would something about 180 center mounted be good?
