so today i was waiting in line and some kids like woah what happened to ur skis, i look at my tails and like 4-5 inches of my edge ripped out. i duct taped them to tpday and the rest of the week. there the 04-05 fujis. i was wonderng if this has happened to anyone else and if i can send them back for a new pair. i didnt buy them from a shop so i dont have a reciept or anythign.
well man i dunno if k2 will warrenty em but hey cant hurt to shoot em an email or give em a ring right? might as well try. you might just get a brand new pair of fugis
K2 Corporation warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail. i bought these from a firend..he got them more than a year ago
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, impact or improper mounting of bindings.
i dont know whether i did this from a fucked up zero spin or an attempt adt a bilndside switchup where my ski nailed the side of the rail. i also mounted them myself. The Purchaser must retain a copy of the original Proof of Purchase from the Dealer.once agian i bought these form my friends, i highly doubt he still has the reciept
so basically i really dont think they will send me new ones
^ ill ahve to try. it happend to my snowboard when i used to board and they epoxied tit but it fell apart again in like 2 days. im thinkin og putting in a small screw or rivet or somehting
thats easily fixable, go to the hardware store, 5 minute epoxy, mix it, spread it all over, clamp it down, it'll dry and whammo, youre good to go... and then if it happens again... fix it again, aint the end of the world kiddo... when the edges start tearing out under boot then you should be worried
