Park riders, mark your calendars for a historic first in the snowboard and ski industry. Echo Mountain Park, North America’s only mountain built exclusively for terrain park riders, and the closest mountain to the Denver metro area, has officially begun selling passes online and announced a special pre-opening day on March 4th and 5th.
“After almost three years of planning, I am extremely excited to announce this pre-opening of Echo Mountain Park. We have been overwhelmed by the support and anticipation from both the snowboard and ski industries. Our goal has always been to create the most innovative park experience in the world for all levels of riders.” said General Manager Doug Donovan.
Starting today, Echo is selling the Echo “Access Pass” for $99 online only at echomountainpark.com. Only 300 Access Passes will be sold, and all Access Pass holders will be granted admission to a special Pre-Opening Weekend on Saturday March 4th and 5th from 11am to 4pm.
The opening day will consist of on-hill music, free food, and a special unveiling of Echo Mountain Park’s new 360 degree, 17 foot tall terrain feature, “Knuckles”.
Besides getting free access to this special pre-opening weekend, Access Pass members will get four single day tickets redeemable at any time. Access Pass holders will then be able to buy each subsequent ticket for $20 for the rest of the season, plus two $20 guest tickets for friends, and 20% off all food and merchandise on the mountain.
