Pollard on Air Jordan?

there was someone who 180 to switch 5ed air jordan a couple weeks ago, anyone know who it is? i was thinking pollard is one of the few to have those types of skills. whoever it is, it's just a preview for the mini golf comp thing k2s putting on.

C'mon guys when was the last time you saw Pollard hit anything other than gay pow lines, or not ski switch down a 10 degree pow field? He obviously can't bring it to the park anymore, he's an old man.

air jordan is a cliff on whis that is a 40 to 60 foot cliff with a really short tranny between the 40 and the 60 . i saw that guy to it was insane but i dont think that was pollard ive seen other guys do swich back 180 to 720

OK FIRST THINGS FIRST:

Air Jordan is a massive mandatory double drop that leaves no room for error. You must land the 25-30 footer and get back in the front seat to send it off the second drop. No stopping either. Depending on how fast your going or what angle you take you can go 40-60 feet of air easily.

Secondly:
The snow in the past 2 weeks has been shit. We have lots of it, but it is pretty hard packed right now. Jordan is only doable on 15cm+ days. I highly doubt anybody would be smart enough to hit it recently.

Thirdly:
Only one person has laid the claim to hitting it switch. Bryce Phillips dropped in and hit the brakes. He then stopped and turned to switch doin a sw flair.

I dont think it could be done, but i dont think he 180'd into it either. Its really steep and if you fall you will rag doll over rocks that you have air over.

Ye Jamie Pierre did air the whole thing in mid january. The top is practically flat though so he had to be snowmobiled in.

I'm looking at hitting it later in the season, just gotta wait for the right conditions and pick up the balls.

you are an idiot, pollard was skiing big lines switch before anyone else was even riding switch in pow:example the ski movie 3, the next person to do it on film was pep in 1242 and his was no where near the steepness, verticle drop, and speed that pollards was. and pollard can drop 180s consistenly off cliffs, focused is a great example as well as other movies. and no one will no who it was untilnext year if it got on film, or the rest of this month on the K2 mini-golf comp thing, where one of the featuresis a double stager, so it might be air jordan. and pollards invited so hopefully he goes.

180 to switch 5 looks impossible. i think it may be doable the other way around. sw 5 off the shorter cliff- land forwards and quickly ready for the next cliff- do 180 and land switch off slightly bigger cliff.

maybe, but i haven't seen pep land any cliffs switch into a line, which i have seen pollard do, but him, abma and maybe cr are maybe the only other peolpe with this type of ability, and we know it';s not cr.

pep's versatile, but much of his ability is in park and more freestyle. eric took bc freestyle to a new level.

on elizabeths he could, it's 172 in length, and it is his promodel. remember this was earlier on like late january/ early feb. so he could have stil been riding this years sticks.

Seeing as he is a Prohpet, Pollard most likely knew what the outcome of his line was going to be before he even put his boots on in the morning. It was this knowledge that gave him the confidence to try such a hard trick off such a rediculous feature.


p.s. pollard, you're not a prophet. Everything you "invented" was undoubtedly thought up by someone else way before you. they just weren't little bitches about it and didn't go all round claiming shit. you do have skiing skills, however.

i may have met pollard a couple times and ran into him at hood, but i don't kow him, this did happen, but im not sure who did it, im just saying that it is most likeyly pollard cause he is the best at switch in the BC. but im not sure, it's fucking whistler, could just be some gnarly local or someone visiting, the truth is it won't be known till we see video of it or someone does it again.

The angle that you take off of the 2nd drop of Air Jordan is pretty steep. Its not like a floated 40 footer...you're already hurtling towards the ground...tough for a five, and spinning switch out of powder?

As for Jamie Pierre....I would imagine you would need to be towed in, in reality, because I cant see where you would get enough speed from to clear all that junk.

Anyways lets hope the snow comes down and ppl start hitting it.

its pretty close to a 20ft drop to a middle bit just barely big enuf for 1 speed check then a 40ft drop. dunno how the fuck u link the two together fakie, didnt hear bout anyone doin that here tho cos the drops only been done a few times this season/
