Volkl Karmas

I found a pair of karmas for $420 online, brand new. Is this a deal I should jump on or will there possibly be a cheaper price in the spring/summer. I also know that they practicly sold out for retail price, so they might not be around. Yes or no?

youre definitely going to find a cheaper pair in the summer, i was thinking of getting karmas, but they didnt have them at my store so i got pe's, but i wouldve gotten the karmas, i hear a lot of good things from them

i have the karmas, and love them. i recentl realized that they may be too stiff for me now, but theyre still sick. i got mine for 475 new 06 in the fall. so i figure ur price will go down cuz theyre coming out with new ones, which im not sure if the construction has changed

They're $417 at my store you should buy them we just went to that price they won't last until summer. I doubt anyone will have Volkls under 40% off bro.

yeah, i was thinkin about hte karmas and think im gettin them for next season, i have heard they are stiff enought to hold an edge nicely and do great all around, park/groomers/pow

Dude does anyone with a connection to volkl know the spec on the 06-07 karmas 185cm? id be a real big help before i go spending any money which i have limited amounts of hahahaha

Not surprisingly, there's conflicting info. I sent an email to Volkl USA and was told "it's the same ski" (other than graphics). But others who have talked to "Volkl reps" have been told it's stiffer, and in another thread I've put a link to a site that says they're "softer in the tip."

We'll know for sure this time next year :(

hey, here are the 06.07 specs i have for the karma.
lengths are: 161, 169, 177, 185.
dimensions are: 119-87-111

i am not gonna release prices. cause i think volkl would kill me...in my sleep. but thats all i have for you. they might be a little stiffer, but from what i can tell, they are the same ski, diff. graffics. hope that helps. and yeah, i would buy those if i were you cause thats a cheap price for a damn good ski you can rely on.
