Red Lodge is a friendly, homely mountain with some financial issues. The skiing and terrain is challenging but not very enjoyable when the mountain is aptly nick named "rock dodge". The terrain park has it's good days but is prone to a lack a cat maintenance and the majority of the time has to make all of its features out of man made snow which to a financially challenged mountain can be troublesome at times but the staff still tries hard. The very best quality about red lodge is the attitude, you will never feel intimidated or shunned like you would at big sky making it very enjoyable to ski.

Bridger Bowl - Don't come here if you are a park rat, thats what big sky is for. Our park sucks, but when we get powder, Bridger is the place to be
