Hmmm....guess I missed it. I probably would have snagged them if I saw them on TGR.

$145 shipped for brand new s916. unbelievable.
It is actually kind of funny. At the moment I have 3 unmounted sets of s916 sitting around.
But one is awaiting some new Igneous FFFs (hopefully 2nd week of March), another some new Capital El Jefes(supposed to be a week ago), and then the last pair some new Capital Big Mountain Twins (in a bit). O yeah!!
If your looking for a similar binding the FKS 185 is pretty cheap too (under $200).

did jumper try and buy them? He has a pair already (hes my ski buddy up here).
did he also fail to get back to you? Right now he's in Iraq (pretty sure, but that was the last time we talked...he's an air force guy so hes all over), so that could be why...

sucks about missing the s916 deal. whats wrong with fks 185s? they are about $180 right now.

I might go that route.... I have just always liked sollys.
Also I have bent solly brakes and it was easy but I am a little nervouse about bending the fks, not sure why but they arent readily avail if I snap them like the sollys are

fks are dope.
I prefer the heft of the s916 more...but I love the fks and p18.
the bending parts isnt too bad. just takes patients.
check out the tutotial for bending brakes on TGR.
and replacment brakes are too bad. just find an older look/rossi binding from 20 years ago. brakes are the same

I just like the feel of clicking into solly binders.
I dont know if the fks is like the p14 but I like to feel the click of a solly

fks is like the p14 but better and all metal.
I agree, though.
Clicking into s916 is amazing. P18 arent the most inspiring bindings to get into. They are great bindings though.
