ok, instead of being dicks like the rest of NS, why doesnt some people help him out... there isnt a trick level you must be at in order to get sponsored, but you should have a good combination of style and difficulty, and spinning/sliding both ways helps, compete in as many comps as you can and get filmed/photographed by anybody, then put everything together in a nice resume... also get good as you can at everything, pipe, rails, jumps...etc variety helps
but, for low level sponsorships for a guy skier, i am assuming your 15 or 16 i would say you need 7s, maybe 9s with good grabs, switch up to 5 or 7 atleast with grabs... unatty 3s atleast all off large tables. you should be able to spin 270s and switch onto small rails rather easy, and be able to do handrails and atleast 5s and some other tricks and boost in the pipe, that is just off the top off my head. however, there are HUGE exceptions to this, i personally know a kid that is pretty much unsponsored that can do both 9s in the pipe over 6 feet out, cab 9s, and cab right 7s like butter on jumps, and slays rails harder than most pros and he got rejected by about 9 companies and is still unsponsored, then again i know a kid on AM teams for big companies that pulled out of the Aspen open because the jumps were too big and he cant spin over a 5, so there you go, it just depends.
