Anyone ever fucked around with it?

You send the phone number you want to call in an im to "My Ip Relay" and it works like a walkie talkie with one end being you on the computer and the other end being the telephone you call.

In the middle is an operator who relays the messages to both sides. The cool thing about it is they have to say almost anything you tell them to and their not allowed to laugh. They only disconnect you if you swear excessivley or insult the operator.

Took that from a blog and tried it. This is the greatest thing ever.

yeah i've tried that with the sprint relay thing (sprintip.com..maybe?). it's funny to call your own phone and type rediculous shit to the operator and listen to him/her say it..good times.

hahaha i was at a friends house and we called his mom and started using racial slurs, and his mom was like "WAHT! thats offensive who is that" we made him say "oh mama, that sex last night was to die for." it was amazing

I used to get on IP Relay in my computer class. Man that shit is hilarious I think it is great that they dont show any expression and they have to say everything I have never had any of them shut down a comment of mine and I have tested them to see if they would hang up but they didn't.

yeah its like an operator service where you connect through your computer and give them a number to call, so they call it and then they say to the person you're calling whatever you type. then, when the person responds, the operator types it to you. I think it was originally designed for deaf people to use, but the operators are obligated to say whatever you type.
last year, me and my friends had alot of fun with it prank calling people and stuff. i prank called my parents and shit. we called my friend's cell phone (he was with us) and like tried to have a conversation with the operator. like we'd say "what are you wearing" so then the operator would type it and then we say "no, i mean what are you wearing, the operator" and like saying sexual stuff to her and shit and she got her manager on the phone, and we fucked with him and then eventually we just got my friend's number added to the list of people that they wouldn't call. but yeah ip relay is hilarious. oh yeah and then we kept connecting until we got an operator that sounded black, and said all these racist things, and like they knew that we were just fucking around but they have to say anything we say, cause thats their job.
