anyone seen this grind? iv only heard about it and can not find a video anywhere? iv tried the searchbar, iv "just done it", before i get any witty witty pictures from people who put far to much effort into trying to make themselves look clever on the internet, a link or video to the grind would be cool? thanks
the website is skipass.com im pretty sure. the whole site is in french so unless you speak it, it will be tough to navigate. search charles' run at tignes
I thought that was pretty gnar looking, definitely never seen that before. But I can think of way cooler tricks. Although it did help get his momentum up for the spin out...
i like skipass.com, they have a lot of quality content. and like someone higher up said, its not THAT hard to navigate....you can usually find shit pretty easy....
THat's thing is quite possibly the gayest thing ever to hit freeskiing. Holy crap does that look ugly especially when he spins out of it. If people outside the industry see that video we are doomed.
go tell charles that yourself, im sure he will care a whole lot... let the man do what he wants who cares. OMG what if a snowboarder saw that OH NO skiing would be doomed!!! give me a break
Anybody dude not just snowboarders. Anyone who isn't blinded by the two X-games medals dangling from Charles' neck would realize just how incredibly stupid that trick looks.
its not a royale, a royale is in rollerblading when both feet are leaning back with just the inside of the front foot and the outside of the back foot touching the rail. to stay up on that in skiing would be mad hard. the grind gangier did on that rainbow is a broken, makes sense since your feet are broken from the normal position.
what kinda hit was that on. it looked like a step up to a little flat thing and then off again. why would they normally put that at the end of a slopestyle course? when i saw it i was like what the fuck. looks like it could be death for your knees if you screwed up.
the grind on the first rail isnt a royal, if you're comparing the trick to rollerblading grinds. a royal is when you're leaning your skis in the opposite direction of what charles is doing, that is AGAINST the grinding direction. charles' grind on the rainbow is acctually called a "torque" with his back foot. if he did it with both of his feets it woulda been called a "full torque"
pretyy crazy stuff, i no it doesnt luk super gorilla stylee but i think its good skiers are putting variation into grinds, i no for me it gets kinda boring watching it
translation, sorry im on msn at same time
pretty crazy stuff, i know it doesnt look stylish but its good skiers are varying rail tricks, its boring watching the same grind again and again
What happened to good old tip and tail presses. They look sick and they show some variety in sliding rails on skis. But for some reason nobody seems to be doing them anymore.
