it takes away from how dank simon's are when you see groms trying straight air truck drivers because they watched the x games and thats the cool thing to do
^who cares? so i guess if someone does a 'dank' grab then no one else in the world can do one? well... i guess i give up skiing... I can't spin, i can't flip, i can't go backwards, i can't grab, can't ski bumps, can't ski pow.... SHIT I CAN'T EVEN SKI CAUSE OTHER PEOPLE DO IT.....
thats not what im saying, its that after the x games and tj and simon started throwing truckdrivers in stuff its become a huge fad..and its like a bad pop song that gets overplayed
and you cant say that you cant flip or spin because other people do, but if you get more specific than you can say that it gets played out
But when you first learn something it doesn'e always look good. so you have to keep trying at to make it look good. simon does it the best maybe but what about Jon's, or what about Cobly West who grabs the tips like a truck driver the point im making is let kids play around with it. its a fun grab to do while spinnig and if the kids having fun isn't that the most important thing here. everyone always misses that when they judge someone.
right im a tool because this kid thinks a grab is "played out" and i disagree with him and disagree with the fact that a trick can be played out, especially by kids just skiing for fun.
and where in posting truckdriver did it make it "obvious" that they felt they mastered the trick?
unless they say something like sick truckdriver its just saying that it was in the trick whether you think it looked good or not
rob you're poning that dude. i do recognize that truck drivers are a huge fad this year, as are japicals, but so were tails and mutes the last few years, and the same with japans and liu kangs in the beginning. and guess what, you all did them. truck driver straight airs are fun to do to just dick around. spinning with it is pretty hard, props to those who do it well.
uhmm..you wouldnt post something saying it was a cork when it was a backflip, would you?
kinda like how the video that i posted on there the kid said he did a 270-truckdriver-270 out, even though that is just kinda impossible lol
how can it possibly take away from what simon does? Unless you're memory (I'm being serious) is so poor that you can't remember who did the good truck driver, and who did the shitty one, then it isn't hard to recall.
That's like saying when kids do 360s, it takes away from Tanner Rainville's 360 in the X Games.
I have an idea...how about we stop skiing altogether. That way, no pro looks bad.
I would argue the exact opposite of what you say. In fact, when people try what the pros do, it only makes the pro looks better, cause it solidifies the fact that the pros can do tricks well.
