I am usually able to land on one ski (when I lose one on take off or something) and I can go for a while, but when I try to stop is when I go down hard....anyone have any really bad expereiences with one ski on
in a comp about 3 weeks ago i go up to tri a 7(on my 1st run) and my ski popped off wen i caught an edge on the lip.....i was very upset and fucked up my arm....it sucked
once i was busting out the spread cross spread in a one peice snowmobile suit, and when i went to cross i slammed my skis together on accident and they both popped off and i almost landed on my boots it was funny
one time a chick stole one of my skis and i had to go the entire run on just one ski. i felt like some dumbass racer or something, plus i sucked at it.
yesterday, I did a 180 over a table and then my brake plate on my binding snapped. Some how I landed, but my ski went flying down the hill. And I had to chase it down the moguls on one skiing, and some supid kids were laughing at me.
i just remembered another one from the beginning of the season. it was like the second box thing i hit that day. there was a bit of an ollie onto the box, mabey 6-8 inches. well somehow, mabey i was tired or something, but i didnt ollie high enough and one of my skis popped off. i slid the whole box on one ski, but slipped out right at the end.
When SAS Films comes back online there's a video of a kid doing a switch 9 I think and riding away clean when his ski comes off on the take off. He then hits the money booter doing a donkey kick.
