How to get VHS on the computer

THe only way i can think of is kinda complicated. You take the VHS and play it on ur tv, and while its playing u record it with a recordable dvd player. U then rip the dvd onto the computer and edit it that way. I dont have a dvd recorder or a dvd ripper, so is there any other way i can do this?

Play it on your TV, and record it with another camera!

You can get a USB thing that takes analog video (the yellow, white and red cords). Its called dazzle or something and comes with software. You can get it for $40 about
