Park skiing becoming like racing?

all my friends want to do now is ski park. literally every run. I mean we live on the gay east coast so skiing trails isn't THAT fun, but its not bad especailly if you're creative and can find powder or lips or something.
i feel like skiing park every fucking run makes it less fun. just how kids can get burned out if they race and thats all they do is ski the same run over and over trying to perfect it, i feel like sking park every run takes alot of the fun out of it. To progress and get better you really do have to go in the park alot and try to learn that new trick, but there definately in a trade-off...it becomes more liek work and less liek fun.
i worked and skiied out at alta for 6 weeks earlier this year and they have it right. at alta its cool (the ski patrol lets you) to buidl natural hits all over the mountain (when theres not a ton of powder to ski) if they don't get too rediculous. So you end up skiing sick terrain, hitting a couple lips (into soft landings), maybe dropping a small cliff, and finding a couple pow-pow turns. I feel liek park skiing is becoem way too gay and structured, and that it shoudl be more natural and spread out over the mountain or something. I don't know the solution, but i feel liek soemthings wrong.
I don't hate the park, i just feel like im gettting sick of it.
anyone agree?

I live on the east coast too and your right, skiing park every run does get annoying, especially when you just wanna go ski a chute or bowl and its not there

When it is shit around the mountain i mean no powder im sorry but skiing groomed runs is fucking boring! Anything off piste is iced up!! The only place i will ski is the park because it is interesting you can always progress and learn something new! I agree skiing is what you want it to be everyone to his own

ski the mountain in the morning, leave an hour or two for park at the end, always works out nice. Especially then because you actually want to ski it

I just ski what I feel like skiing, at any given time. If I'm feelin park laps all day I do it. Whatever is most fun.
