yeah back yard blizzards are as cheap and effective as they come, unless you are really good at building things or know some one who can do it for you

dont know if this would work but it isnt too far fetched. You could use a power washer and get a long tube for it and put the nozzle up in a tree pointing down on your yard in cold weather. Might be a stupid idea but it seems like they blow the same sort of mist as snowblowers. Just an idea

i used a power washer and strapped the handle to a 2by4 and had it up about 10 feet and ran all night and blew about a foot over a wide spread area
