So. In hopes of starting some discussion, and answering my questions. What resort has the most hills, or acres of skiable (In Bounds) terrain available. And what resort has the largest vertical drop? Seperate them into catagories to, like US and then Europe, so I know which ones are from each. I don't know exactly why I'm asking this, I'm just real curious if anyone knew.
Big Sky is the biggest in US as of this year with the addition of Moonlight Basin. Vail was, and most likely will be again because they were pretty proud of it. Whister is largest in N America...BY Far
Yea, so I'm on Whistler's site, (and may I say, skiing at a hill with 500' vertical has made me look at the pictures here, and it has brought tears to my eyes) but yea, Whistler is the biggest in North America. Aspen's acerage is small it says here on their "compare acreage" map. And Vail is the biggest US with 5289 acres against Whistler/ Blackcomb's 8171 acres. I've now made it my life's goal to ski there, for a week at the least.
wtf is that supposed to mean? Is that a sad attempt at my mocking my unfortunate life in WNY? or are you simply stating that you have read my life goal in going to Whistler.
